Being of one mind and a unified front in important in the church body, while disagreements are healthy - outright opposition can lead to all sorts of problems. Our digital presence has been slipping to disarray and outright opposition with itself for sometime. There have been several things that we wanted to offer, but haven't been able to pull off due to the existing structures of the website.

Many of those that surfed the site in the past may have never known how piecemeal the site truly was. Some things worked well, others didn't. To add to the complexity we actually were using two different web hosts to run separate parts of the site. This added to the cost and complexity of what we were doing and eventually we had to say that enough was enough. Today is the day we decided that we are hopping mad and not going to operate in such a fashion anymore.

The good news is that once this migration and redesign are completed we will have much better site that allows for better and more efficient podcasting, user level security, the return of our gallery (many have felt is absence) and a central calendar for functions and events. With out putting the cart before the horse we think it will be just awesome and hope you will too. In the mean time please allow us the time to heard all the cats and various parts of old site into the new one.
